Well at today's appt I was 3 cm and still 50% effaced. Baby is measuring right on target so we are just playing the waiting game and givin' lots of lovin' to our little H...
Hey Grace, I was reading into your posts :) and it sounds like you're a bit worried about how Henry will be once the baby comes and being able to give him all of the attention he's used to (like any good mama would be). This was my GREATEST concern about adding Elizabeth to our family when Keziah was so young. There was literally no way to prepare her since we didn't have ultrasounds, pictures, or dr appts to get her into "baby mode." So, we just prayed. I simply prayed that He would make Keziah ready. My ONLY concern when we had Keziah was that Chasidi would be ready and okay with everything...and she was amazing. And I'm telling you, Keziah didn't miss a beat when Elizabeth came along. Even after we stayed with friends, then in a hotel for nearly a week...she was never once rough with Elizabeth. She has never seemed 1 bit jealous of her either. God is so good and He answers prayers...so just rest knowing that He's forming Henry to be exactly who He created him to be...a big brother! A friend once told me that the best thing she ever gave her children were siblings....and boy, do I know what she means now! What a blessing! God bless you and Kit and the amazing Henry!
