Six weeks old!

One month well check

Wells had his appt yesterday and our 3rd son is becoming quite a lil chunky monkey!! Love it. :-)

Length: 22.4"

That's 4 pounds in ONE month! Yes, my smallest baby had the greatest gain in his first month!

And, he JUST started giving us some smiles!




He's consistently doing a 5-6 hour stretch at night which is definitely welcomed around here :)

{ONE month}.

Little Mr. Wells-

You are ONE month old today! It's hard to believe that one month has passed so quickly but then again it seems like you've always been in our family! 

You are busting out of the newborn outfits and are going into the 0-3mo size and size 1 diaper. 

You are such a sweet boy! You have done really great at a daytime schedule (every 3 hours) and I'm definitely getting a 4 hour stretch from you at night...on a really good night it maybe 5-6 hours, though those are few and far between. Just like your brothers, sleeping on your back is not a favorite. Side sleeping is preferred. 

I love the Aiden + Anaias swaddle blankets and swaddle you frequently. I love a baby burrito! Sometimes you like your hands free but you definitely feel more secure swaddled up tightly.

Momma & Poppa are so proud of you and your brothers just adore you. Though life with 3 is hectic, I think we've adjusted as well as can be expected. Porter wasn't so sure what he thought of you for the first week but once he saw Henry loving on you constantly, he joined right it and stops for frequent kisses on your head!

There is always laundry to do, toys to pick up, toilets to clean, and a dishwasher to unload but you are only little once! I know we'll get into a better routine around here soon. Right now we do a lot at night after H&P have went to bed and before your last feeding of the night. It's nice to "reset" for the next day and prepare for the next thing. 

After 3 babies, I think I've finally learned....NO DAIRY! It's made all the difference in the world this time around breastfeeding and I've cheated twice and those have been the two times we've had a super fussy baby on our hands. Great to know but man, I sure do love dairy and miss it!! :)

Even though I just had a baby 20 months ago, and 20 months before that :)...I forget all the cute little squeaks and grunts babies make. You also make the cutest little faces and I know smiling is just around the corner!

We sure can't wait to see your personality shine more in the months to come!
