Henry's PreK 3 program

Last night was Henry's first "program". It was short & sweet :). I enjoyed dressing the boys back up in Christmas sweaters and trying to get a couple more pictures.

3rd Annual Gingerbread House!

A couple of Saturdays ago, the boys & I decorated a gingerbread house. Kit has now deemed this as "my thing" since it's "decorating with the boys"...and I love that! :). We had a fun morning and we spent a whole morning working on this. 

Don't worry...Porter didn't eat any of the candy! ;)

Wells {SEVEN} months

Oh my goodness...that month...where'd it go?

Wells you are really good at sitting up, rock back and forth on your knees & love being on your tummy. Rolling over, you have no desire from back to belly. You just lay there and seem completely unmotivated to reach for a toy and roll. You just kick your legs and jabber.

You have such a high pitched little squeal. 

It's adorable and you talk ALL day long and really get your eyebrows moving!!

You are still in size 4 diaper, 12-18 month clothes and take a bottle 4 times a day.

 You still are eating oatmeal, cereal and baby food! I think banana and berries and turkey with veggies may be your two favorites!! :)

You still are such a laid back baby except for your car seat. You have about a 25 minute timer and that's all you will tolerate of the carseat. Oh joy :/

Your hair is getting much longer and you have such sweet brown eyes with the longest eye lashes!!

 Henry adores you and Porter is always asking about you. If it's time for you to eat, go to sleep, if you are coming with us to run errands, if you need a snack, etc. He really keep tabs on you :)
You are content to play with toys around you for quite some time. Give you a basket of toys and you pick one up, look it over and grab the next. It keeps you quite busy throughout the day.

You still take 2 good naps one in the morning and one in the afternoon with a quick power nap in the evening. You sleep right around 12 hours at night from 7:30p to 7:30a.

You are pure sweetness Wellsie and go with the flow. You love to watch your brothers, play with your Poppa and then tell me all about it. You are everything we never knew we needed or wanted! Such a sweet little dubs!

Brady comes to play!

We asked H what he wanted to do for his birthday and he didn't want a party but instead wanted his friend Brady to come over & play! It was a fun afternoon of hearing their little conversations and negotiations. Porter & Brady love each other too so it's a win win when Brady is in the house!

Aunt Lindsay might have scored the best present of H's 4th birthday! He was SO excited about these legos and that's all he wanted to do all afternoon!

Henry's {FOURTH} birthday!!

Henry woke up last Sunday bouncing off the walls! He was FINALLY FOUR! :). We made him wait until after church to unwrap present. I've never seen him eat him lunch so fast!! He had a small pile of cards and boxes that had accumulated and was so excited to finally open them!

So blessed.

Yesterday was a downright rainy, chilly day. It actually felt a little winter ish & you could actually wear a sweater & not sweat to death. So I dressed my boys in some Christmas-y sweaters and it was pure cuteness. We are so blessed by these boys. These are the best days!!


Last night was the children's Christmas play at church and before it started the preschool choir sang a few songs. H&P were up there together and I was one proud momma!!! It was Ps first time on stage and he did not disappoint. In awe. Shaking his bell just like he should!! Super sweet! H (on the end) was participating this year which was great to see & he seemed like such a big boy up there being one of the older ones!!

Henry {FOUR}.

Henry!!

You are FOUR. You have waited ALL year to be FOUR!!! 

I can't believe it. The years have just flown by!

You are around 35 pounds and 40.5 in tall. You wear a 4T. Size 9-10 shoe.

You continue to be a very detailed little boy. Your memory is crazy good and I can't believe all the things you can recall. You are a great BIG brother! 

I can't believe 4 years ago you were such a little tiny bundle! 

So, so sweet! Where'd that baby go? :/

You are growing into such a sweet little man. Most of the time ;)

You and Porter can go round and round at times but you can also be sweet to each other too! 

You are such a big help to momma with Wells. You volunteer all the time to play with him and are so gentle when you talk to him and give him lots of kisses! 

You have really enjoyed going to "school" this year and it's given you a lot of confidence and you love everything...especially the car line and snack time! hahaha!! :) You know letters, colors, shapes, numbers & are getting better at writing your name!

You are cuddly and smart with a little silly mixed in :). 

You love tractors, trains, race cars and your newest obsession is helicopters!!

You are still a little timid when it comes to large crowds and unfamiliar people. That's when you just shut down but usually that's when you let Porter take the lead bc he doesn't have any problem there. That's the great thing about brothers...you have each others backs ;). 

Here's a funny little story. Last week Henry asked where he was on the "Ruler" (our measuring stick I recently made) and noticed he was very disappointed when I showed him where he was. The past couple of days he's been cleaning his plate and asking for seconds saying he needs to grow BIG! Last night at dinner he cleaned his plate again and then asked if I could measure him again. I said, "why do I need to measure you now?" He said, "I need to make sure i'm going to be FOUR {feet} for my birthday tomorrow!!" 

Oh Henry, we LOVE you! You made us a Momma & Poppa first! We have been blessed to have you as our son and are so thankful God has given us these past four years and pray for many more!!

Patrick.

Our elf on the shelf is named Patrick...per the boys request. I had another name in mind but they pleaded for this name. So Patrick it is! (not Pat :)). Anywho, Henry LOVED reading the book. Until he thought about it. Then there were tears... He said Patrick was not allowed to be in his room and didn't like the thought of him walking around. When he first arrived he didn't like it, which caused P to get upset too. But we've kept moving him around & day 2 Henry said," Patrick isn't real. I know you're moving him around." And then he seemed to calm down about it. Just a little something fun to do and every morning they run out of their rooms to search and find him. Kit was NOT into it at all at first but man, he's really stepped in and made it fun. Almost all of these pics are his idea. A couple others were hiding in the boys' cup/plate cabinet & yesterday he was buckled up and in the truck waiting on us to go to church :)
