Please pray for my Grandma today as she will undergo a Heart Cath.

Below, I put information about a Heart Cath from wedmd

Cardiac Catheterization

Cardiac catheterization is a test to check your heart and coronary arteries. It is used to check blood flow in the coronary arteries, blood flow and blood pressure in the chambers of the heart, find out how well the heart valves work, and check for defects in the way the wall of the heart moves. In children, this test is used to check for heart problems that have been present since birth (congenital heart defect).
If your coronary arteries are blocked, your doctor can use a thin flexible tube (catheter), guidewire, and balloon to open them and improve blood flow to your heart. This is called percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The three common types of PCI are:
Angioplasty. This may be done by attaching a small balloon to the catheter. Once the catheter has been guided to the proper location in a coronary artery, the balloon is inflated. The pressure from the inflated balloon presses the plaque against the wall of the artery to improve blood flow. See an illustration of angioplasty.
Stenting, which usually is done along with angioplasty. Once the plaque is compressed using angioplasty, a small expandable wire tube called a stent is inserted into the artery to hold it open. Reclosure of the artery is less likely to occur after angioplasty followed by stenting than after angioplasty alone. This is the most common procedure performed.
Atherectomy. This may be done during cardiac catheterization to open a partially blocked coronary artery. Once the catheter reaches the narrowed portion of the artery, a cutting device, a whirling blade (such as a rotoblade), or a laser beam is used to remove the plaque.

Knees to the Earth

Here I am sitting before the computer this evening, I've made it through another Monday! Honestly though, Kit and I have been so blessed. We are thrilled with our house and all the things we get to do outside/ inside. The Lord has provided for us above and beyond. It is nothing by our doing but by God's grace! Tonight we were talking about where we were a year ago. Then, two years ago. It's amazing to see the changes that have occured.
I'm just sitting here listening to Watermark so in awe. God is awesome beyond measure. We had a awesome sermon on Sunday about how our relationship with Christ is personal but not private. So, I give it all to Christ tonight. My anxieties about my wisdom teeth extraction and our septic tank problems which we have to fix ASAP :) and our Bug's one eye that's burnt out and the switch that is broken so you can't fix it without taking it to a shop. God knows them all and HE is the one I want to control my life, not me!

Be Blessed,
Grace

3 years too late?

It's sad to say, but it has been almost three years since our honeymoon and I just printed off pictures, got them into frames and on the wall. It must be the office wall color that inspired me... :)

So Long Fish Eyes...

Finally the big flood lights are gone out of our kitchen! We were able to keep the track that had been previously used and just buy new, updated lights. We have been searching for lights that we liked for a while and they were on clearance! God is so awesome!

Were these even in style?

Before

Kit acting like I'm not taking a picture :)

"Almost" finished product. The second light needs a new bulb already and we have one more light to install but when Kit put it up tonight it had a crack in it. So, another trip to Lowes!

Dr. Perry

Well, the saga continues! I went to see another (yes, another!) oral surgeon regarding my wisdom teeth.

Below is the man that is going to do it! Dr. Michael Perry. I know, I know in this picture he looks more like a woman but whatever, I must admit that I actually liked the fact that he had a bit of an "attitude". He was confident that he would successfully extract my wisdom teeth. He was reasonable that there is a risk involved regarding my mandibular nerve and the potential for chin numbness but was practical in that we both agreed there is a higher risk for infection with the partial extractions. As of today, I set my surgery for May 25th. I just hope I don't call back in and cancel it!

Kenlyn, they offered me April 27th for my surgery but I was like, "oh, that's before Vera! That won't work...." They just gave me a weird look! haha

Happy Easter

We hope everyone had an enjoyable and blessed Easter celebrating the ressurection of our LORD! It all started Sunday morning when Kit & I enjoyed watching Grover "smelling out" his easter eggs! I had the funny idea to put some dogs treats in some of the eggs and candy in the other eggs. Grover has the "nose" and he was able to smell out every egg that had the dog treat in it! It was hilarious because you would think he would be lightheaded from all the "sniffing" and then with his teeth and paw would very gently "pop" open the egg and effortlessly eat his treat! It was very enjoyable.
We also enjoyed a big breakfast with our church family on Sunday which was really nice to sit around and fellowship with other members of the body of Christ! The choir also did an awesome job...
Finally, we enjoyed the afternoon with my side of the family for lunch, followed by Kit's side. We got there a little too late and missed almost everyone :(. Sorry guys!

A quick pic before church!
Do you see the egg?

Meet JD

Yeah! Kit finally found a good used mower! My husband is obsessed with making sure the grass is cut. It's 8:53 p.m. and he's still mowing :).

Birthdays x 2

We had an enjoyable weekend. It was filled with two birthdays! My nephew Rob turned 11 and Silas, Kit's nephew turned 2!
