JuSt ReLaxIn'!

Handsome HeNrY!
Showing Granny Great how much he loves his tractor!

Watchin' the game with Grandma!
Henry looked awfully handsome in his big boy shirt for church today! He is sure enjoying his Grandma and Granny Great! We are So ExCiTeD to have them with us ALL week :). He loves watching TV and enjoyed watching Purdue win the championship with Grandma!
I can't believe he is going to be 3 months old already! When we were at Denise's on Friday we used her scale and it said Henry was 16# 15oz so we know he is still growing! (Kaitlyn is growing too!!! She was 11# 7 oz). It was nice to use that scale since he doesn't go back to the doctor until 4 months!

CuTeSt LiTtLe MoNkEy!

I can't believe it. Henry is officially done with all of his 3-6 mo clothes (he had one sleeper that still fit but it's now done) and only has a few 6 mo that still fit. He is mostly wearing 9 mo and they fit really well right now (like the outfit above) and getting into 12 mo clothes. What a big boy! And as you can tell from the video, he's drooling all over the place!

My New Favorite..

Avoiding Dairy is becoming hard to do. I LOVE dairy but there is a direct correlation between me eating dairy and Henry's fussiness. I am starting to get tired of tater tots, baked potato, salted pasta and oreos. I definately miss having my HuGe bowl of ice cream every night! Well, these are my new Dairy-Free favorite snack!

H-E-N-R-Y

A new favorite song around here goes like this...

Kit and Grace have a boy and HENRY is his name-o!

H-E-N-R-Y,

H-E-N-R-Y,

H-E-N-R-Y

and HENRY is his name-o!

Sound Familiar?!?! :)

Henry was smiling and splashing last night until...I pull out the camera! The boy sure knows how to turn it on or off!

12 weeks!

I can't believe that Henry is twelve weeks already! Time sure is flying by! We are enjoying another beautiful sunny day here in Georgia. It's still about 80 degrees and should continue until the weekend when we are suppose to get rain :(.
We went to MOPS again this morning and when I picked him up from nursery he gave me the biggest smile! And, today he has just started reaching out his arms for me to pick him up. He holds onto blankets and diaper rags quite well now and enjoys snuggling with one in the evening before bedtime.
He is always studying what's going on and thinks before he gives you an expression. He loves to look at himself in the mirror and make faces. He enjoys story time and likes himself some Dr. Seuss!

Enjoying a BeAuTiFuL Day!

Henry, the Dogs and I have enjoyed a beautiful day! It was right around 80 today. We enjoyed a walk, playing outside and cleaning the house with the windows open!
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast."

OuR Mr. GrOvEr

Poor Grover. He's a bit under the weather. He & Gisele were outside playing in the beautiful weather yesterday. Kit was downstairs playing with Henry and I was upstairs cleaning our bathroom. All of the sudden, we heard a loud shrill and it was Grover. We can only guess he was running away from Gisele and pulled a muscle. Ever since then, he's become our little patient laying on the ottoman and giving us sad eyes. He's doing well...it's actually quite impressive watching him go up the stairs and move around the house on three legs.
I've been meaning to write a post about him for a while now anyway. Grover. What can we say about him? Yeah, He barks. He barks everyday precisely at 9 45 a(when the neighbor takes a walk) 11 35 a (when the mail comes) and 2 45 p (When the kids get off the school bus). He's a bit pudgy and at times down right annoying. I think it really stems from how smart he is. You do something with him about 3 times and he's learned a new trick! His nose gets him into trouble alot, too. He's always there when you open the refrigerator, pantry or freezer. His favorite treats are ice cubes and pig ears. I can't imagine what he thinks going from an "only" dog to now a sister gisele and baby brother!
Oh Grover, we DO love you!

You are always welcome!!

Family & Friends are always welcome to our home and we'd love to have ya'll! Keep that in mind if you need a vacation spot, get away weekend, warm weather, etc :)

Quick & Cheap Fixes!

Last weekend Kit painted our Master Bedroom and this weekend finished up our bathroom. We are both getting quite tired of the flat, scuffed up walls around here (Our home was a foreclosure and therefore wasn't as loved when we purchased it). It feels so good to have a freshly painted room and really warms up the space. Anyway, the total cost for the bedroom remix was $50 (2 gallons of paint and a can of spray paint!) All the decorations were things I already had...It was kinda fun to shop the house :).

Also, I think the front door turned out cute, too!

Bath Time

Ok, hopefully this is a little better. I tell ya, he is SO serious at times!

as requested per mamaw and papaw :)

This is from last week during bath time

(Sorry it's so crooked! :( )

I'll have to get a better one!

Too Cute!

We still swaddle Henry and he's starting to get better with less jerking so I am starting to swaddle him more "loosely". Well, I think this is just adorable that he got his little hand up by his face :)

Welcome..

So, today I decided to do something "crafty" during Henry's nap and made a wreath for the front door. Tonight hopefully Kit can help me with the final piece to the front door makeover with the front door "welcome" sign...we'll see ;)

Summer Fever!

( someone ReFuSeD to look at the camera this morning ;))

We are getting excited about the warm weather and can't wait for summer! We just HaD to try on a few summer outfits ;)

He is such a good sport!

Yesterday, Henry & I ran to the grocery and it was quite windy.
So, we had a couple more errands to run and thought we'd wait for Kit to get home so we could all go together. Well, remembering how windy it was at lunch, I thought I better find a cap for him to wear since it's chilly outside. I put his cap on and we couldn't stop laughing! He looks so different without any hair...what a good sport, Henry! You took it like a pro and we are so thankful you have hair! ;)
Then, after running our errands it was bath time. Henry is really starting to enjoy not wearing any clothes and usually starts fussing after bath time that he has to get his jammies on. So, I remembered he has a couple of bath robes and we've yet to use them! Here he is sporting one...he was less than impressed with the two of us :).

Sorry I scared ya Momma!

That's right, I didn't have a very good night last night but,
Henry had an AwEsOmE one!!!
He slept from 8 15 p until 6 15 a. I fed him at 6 15 a and then he went back down and slept until
9 15a !!
Of course, I was constantly going in his room, putting my hand on him to make sure he was breathing :).

All the schools are out...

...but Kit isn't! That's right, he went to work and made it just fine. All our snow is melting and suppose to get to 43 by 3 pm today and at the end of the week hit 71! oh, it was fun while it lasted :)

SnOw, SnOw, SnOw!!!

Henry's First Snow! Kit on the INSIDE while I'm outside taking all kinds of pictures!!

The Dogs enjoying the snow

That's right...it's SNOWING here today!!! When we got out of church, the parking lot was a flurry of really excited kids and lots of SLOW drivers! The snow flakes are HUGE and it's gorgeous covering the pine trees. I had to run into the grocery store for a card but everyone was rushing about grabbing milk and bread (too funny!!) It's still about 34 so it's beautiful but just covering the ground, not the pavement...yet! Kit and I are hoping the temps continue to drop so Kit might have a SNOW day! We are suppose to get 1-2 inches. We'll keep ya posted ;)
