We had such a great Valentine's Day! Kit & I found this great little restaurant that was close to home, the atmosphere was awesome with dim lighting, our table was perfect in a corner by the fireplace, great music playing, fabulous food and...free babysitting! What's this place called you ask?!
Our Living Room!

Anyway, Mr. Henry did such a great job...we waited until after I fed him in the evening and got his bath. Then, we put him in his bouncy seat in front of the fire to watch the flames...he was quite taken with the flames (It wasn't too close mamaw ;))! Then, he took a power nap while we had dessert and coffee. It was then one more feeding and he was out for the night :).
And, a good time was had by all!

That's right, we had to get creative about having a good Valentine's dinner and were weren't about to try to get to a restaurant...they are always crazy busy! And, with no Grandma or Mamaw around we decided to stay home.
We decided to fondue...our favorite restaurant is here but it is very expensive and this way we saved money!! It was super yummy. We fondued steak in a red wine base with vegetables. Dessert was yum with milk chocolate and we dipped pound cake, graham crackers, bananas, and marshmallows. (We had to skip the cheese round...none for me while breastfeeding!)

Thank you for putting the remarks in for us grandma's and mamaw's.
We went to O'Charley's for lunch time that way the wait wasn't too long. You two are so creative and good at making things beautiful.
How fun, Grace!!!!! We have been to the Melting Pot...Fondue is sooo fun!
What a GREAT idea & awesome memory & it looks so romantic! Fondue sounds so yummy! It brought back the memory of us four going to the Melting Pot a couple years ago...back before the boys :). We were so exhausted from our day it was pizza for Josh & pasta for me :).
