I thought I'd do a little update on Henry since I feel like I've been putting alot of updates on here of Porter. This week has been BuSy!! It seems like everyday we've had somewhere to be every morning and every night, leaving just enough time for naptime...which isn't that big of a deal until I relaized it wasn't just any 'ol time...like we needed to be leaving the house by 9am everymorning...umm, we don't usually do that! So, we are all a little tired! The boys usually don't get up until 8 or 8:30 so feedings, getting two little ones dressed and out the door by 9am...wowzers! haha. I know you all reading this with 2+ children are laughing at me but it's still an adjustment with two!
Anyway...
We normally aren't that busy and I still try to take advantage on one on one time around here and so when Porter is down for his morning nap, Henry and I spend a little one on one time and do some fun learning!
Here's a few things we are up to!
BTW, I thought of none of this...thank goodness for blogs...they are great for ideas!!
ABC's...we are getting there. He missed a few letters but for the most part...much improved!!
We still do weekly letters, too!
Henry LOVES the color bath fizzy-things my mom got him for Christmas (and such a hit they showed up in a little package for Valentine's!! I think I might need to get him some for Easter!!) so this was with my icing gels (Instead of food coloring). He LOVED this. I just dipped a stick with the gel color and let HIM put the stick in the cup and stir...he loved that HE got to make the color change and then he told me what color it was!!
Umm...You are looking a little TOO grown up here, Henry!
This was something fun I found on someone elses blog and I'll tell you a little something... On her blog, she has two girls so she did this with cute beads and threw some glitter in. Umm...we had none of that...we have BOYS around here! LOL. So...umm....after searching the hosue...we used Pens caps! LOL :). But, what I did was fill a gallon ziploc with water...drew a line now the middle of the bag. We had fun moving the pen caps over and said, "RIGHT", "LEFT" and counted the three caps, too. It was too easy for him to use his fingers to move them so I grabbed a popsicle stick and that was fun for him to use too.
This kept him Busy!!
