Helpful Henry

Anytime I'm in the kitchen...

Henry is right there...ready to help!

I love baking him with...

cooking in the evening...not always so much.

Things are too hot and it's all ready at once so I usually have him help me set the table instead of working with hot food.

And unloading the dishwasher...I'm always amazed at how he knows where everything goes..

I love to bake and share time with him.

Hopefully he'll continue to enjoy it...in the years to come...

It's started to cool off so we've pulled out the long pajamas...

I have to remember it pays off big.

We had such a fun weekend thanks to Aunt Amy flying in from Tx! She was able to meet Porter and play with Henry! I always love having sister time! Henry has continued to talk about his "Nant Mimi" that come on an "airplain" from "Texie"! ;)

Thank you SO much for coming Aunt Amy & and thanks to Uncle Todd and the cousins for letting us have you for a few days!

What a Man...

Saturday Part 1 (Firewood)

Gettin' firewood is in Kit's blood! So, when a co-worker offered up free firewood...Kit snatched up the chance to get a load. Thank goodness Kit finally got himself a truck! :) Henry got to go and he was MORE than excited to ride in "Poppa's Truck!". Kit & Henry spent the morning getting wood while Porter and I hit a local fabric store...these are too cute not to share. Gettin' ready to go...lookin' too cute!

You might remember this post from last year when we "helped" Henry paint his pumpkin. Well, not this year! This BIG boy painted his pumpkin ALL. BY. HIMSELF!

Need a laugh?

So, I've recently learned a few things about my camera so I'm slowly starting to venture into manual mode instead of auto all the time. This morning we were out playing and I total a TON of pictures just playing around...this picture made me laugh out loud. Wow!
