Wordless Wednesday

31 weeks (a lil' late)

I'm sure by now ya'll can figure out that my friend Tate is really talented at taking pictures :). She and another friend are throwing me a shower in August and needed a couple of pictures for that so I stopped by the other day and this is what she did in just a couple minutes...love them! I would still like a small maternity session with Kit & Henry too outdoors but, I love these...simple & precious. Thanks, Tate!

I had my appt last Thursday and everything is look great and measuring right on track. As of right now I have gained 15 pounds this pregnancy and the baby is predicted to be about 7 1/2 to 8 pounds. We'll see...All I know is I am getting really excited to meet this little one!

I Heart Craigslist

We have been looking for a bigger table for a little while now but I am not a "rooms to go" or "ashley's furniture" kind of girl. I enjoy picking up pieces here and there and lately have been enjoying thrift store shopping...you never know what bargain could be there each week and cheap (Like my 1.99 lamp bases...that were originally from Target!) Anyway, I have been wanting a farm table but if you see it labeled as "Farm Table" I notice the price is crazy high so I didn't think it would happen. I had been looking on Craigslist when one day a couple weeks ago popped up...the exact length we wanted and right in the next town over. The people were so extremely nice and it's so cute because it has two drawers for storage on each side. I am not a fan of the green and plan on painting the bottom a creamy white and adding a few mix n match chairs...before the baby is born which is fast approaching!

Mamaw+Papaw Visit & Zoo Atlanta

I took a week off of the blog to relax and enjoy our visitors! Mamaw & Papaw came down to visit with us and we all had a great time. When they arrived last Sunday on the fourth, I hardly had a voice and Kit wasn't feeling very well either. So, we were thinking about going somewhere for fireworks but ended up just staying home. Today I finally feel back to normal. Kit ended up going to an urgent care and getting meds...thankfully, Henry never caught what we had.

Monday morning we took advantage of Kit having the day off and having Mamaw & Papaw with us and headed to Zoo Atlanta! Henry really enjoyed the zoo...between the animals, the fact he practically walked most of it, being outside, and having grandparents with us, he was a really good sport! Thanks to Aunt Amy for his new "rhino" shirt that he wore proudly to the zoo! When we first arrived the rhino wasn't out yet but when we were ready to leave we stopped to check and finally there was Henry's favorite...the Rhino!! :)

Kit & I enjoyed going out on a date Thursday night and he just kept remarking how nice it was to family around! We enjoyed dinner and a movie knowing Henry was in such good hands. Henry got to spend practically all day with Mamaw & Papaw on Thursday because I had a doctor's appt in the morning and enjoyed the afternoon shopping ALONE...it was heavenly!! :).

Thanks for coming Mamaw & Papaw...we enjoyed having you and will see you when Baby C makes his/her arrival!

28 week appointment

Our appointment went really well and baby is measuring right on track and looking healthy!! My stats were great and it was awesome to see the baby today. Baby is head down and ACTIVE! :). That is the best picture we got at the appointment and it's hard for me to believe that I'm already down to going to the doctor every two weeks...crazy!!
Well, this is a quick post. I'm exhausted and so glad that glucola test is finished! It's 9p.m. and this is the first time we've been home today.

VBS has been awesome and tomorrow is the last day!

Today is the second day of VBS

We are having TONS of fun but Henry & I are exhausted!

I just laid him down and have yet to hear any little pitter patters...

I think my nap is calling me now!

81.

Oh.my.goodness. I just looked up at the ticker and can't believe we are only 81 days (or less!!) from meeting this new baby!! AAAHHHH! We are super excited about meeting this baby but this pregnancy has blown by twice as fast as the first. I have an appointment on Thursday for 28 weeks (I'll be 28weeks 6days at the time of appt). It's another big one with the glucola test, ultrasound and oh yeah, I think they are going to ask me if I've registered at the hospital...I feel like I just literally laid that paperwork down a day ago on my to-do pile and I can't believe it's been sitting for 4 weeks. If this was my first, I would have had it completed while waiting in the room! ha! :)

This baby is a mover and a shaker. It is an ongoing joke around here as the baby is already camera shy. I probably have 30 or more short video clips because the baby will be kicking me and as soon as I grab the camera....silence.calm.nothing. Nothing. I wait. wait. put the camera away and...kicking, rolling, jabbing.

I LOVE it though...nothing like it on earth!! :) I just feel like this baby is higher than Henry was. I never remember having a feeling of my ribs getting kicked last time but, maybe I forgot :).

We are so impressed with Henry's understanding. He took to his big boy room instantly and has never even walked back into the nursery. After 3 glorious days of him staying in his bed...he finally realized the freedom he had! ha! So, after a *fun* 24-48 hours around here, Henry finally got the picture to mind momma and poppa and things have definately improved!

I *think* we have both agreed on names and we ask Henry to give them a try and it's SSSOOO incredibly cute to here him say both names...either one sounds adorable coming from him!! I'd love to share, but I've learned my lesson on that one! The name will be revealed when the baby is born!!

He asks about the baby and LOVES any new babies he sees...which, I have a feeling he's going to be *more* than helpful when the new baby arrives! :)
