Better

Henry doesn't have a fever anymore and seems to be doing better!
He "coughs" every now and then but also smiles as if that is his new trick :)

A little mister has a little fever.
...we are taking a break from blogging but would appreciate all the prayers we can get!
Also, we got some sad news yesterday of Kit's co-worker, very close friends of ours (who are expecting a baby at the end of this month) will be laid off.
That really hit close to home for us and we continue to lift them up in prayer because while it surprised them & us....it doesn't surprise God and HE is in complete control!!
We are confident in God's purpose for moving us here to Georgia and continue to be thankful that Kit is still employed and I continue to receive a blessing everyday by being able to stay home with Henry.

One of "those" days

Oh my, oh my! Have you every had one of those days? Holy Cow! I'd like to go back to bed and start over, please ;).
My day started at 8 30a when Henry woke up. He ate good and was joyful. It went downhill from there when I "thought" I could do our Easter Outfit shopping. First of all, I wonder why there is hardly any baby boy "special occasion" clothes out there! They have newborn easter outfits and toddler easter outfits but, looking for 9 mo; I found none. Of course, maybe they were there..amongst the mountains of girl dresses!!
Henry was fussy on and off this morning so I was about to call it quits and go home when....what's that behind me? FlAsHiNg LigHtS? NoT ME!! Oh yes, its' true. I was pulled over. I had NO idea why as I had just left the shopping plaza and turned right onto the road. I had been at a complete stop and had my turn signal on. I did wait for the green light and I hadn't even gotten up to speed! I'm sorry, but I had a really hard time not being impatient when Mr. Policeman (All of about 19 years of him) walked up and asked for my license. He was stuttering and sweaty, as if this was the FIRST time he pulled someone over...for what you ask?! Our license plate cover is "tinted" and he had a hard time reading it. WHAT?! I didn't say anything, just handed over my information as Henry is not just crying at this point but SCREAMING b/c the boy hates to be the carseat unless you moving.
So..I wait.....and wait....and WAIT for Mr. Policeman to fill out my "courtesy" warning perfectly filling in every line and then going over every line still stuttering and nervously fidgeting with his shirt. At this point, Henry had practically screamed himself to sleep and about one more minute, I was about to throw in the towel and join him.
What a day, what a day....

14 weeks & smiles for everyone!

An Enjoyable Saturday..

We enjoyed a nice Saturday hanging out around the house. We even took a nice long walk with Poppa & the dogs. We've been outside alot this past week and Henry is really enjoying his strollers alot!

Yesterday, I was up working in our room organizing clothes and putting them away. Henry enjoyed laying on the chaise for a while and then when it was time for me to go in our closet, I put him in the basket and he was perfect for about 30 minutes in there!

Enjoy!

A good time was had by all...

We really enjoyed having Grandma & Granny Great here for a visit! As always, it goes by too quickly and is never long enough! We took them back to Denise's last night and from there they were leaving this morning to head back home. Last night we were able to take a few pictures while we had babies and grandmas together.
Oh,What fun!
We are glad we will be heading back home at Easter time and can't wait to see the rest of the families :).
...Quoting Connor, "Henry! Don't forget your awesomeness!" ;) Henry has never seen so much pink!

Henry was not enjoying the fact that Kaitlyn was trying to hold hands with him and his shirt. He quickly lost his sense of humor. But, as always, Kaitlyn was just as smiley as she could be!

A day at Noah's Ark!

Today we went to Noah's Ark. It's an animal rehabilitation center for both domesticated and exotic animals alike. The founder of Noah's Ark was the daughter of an Evangelist and was always too poor to be able to go to the Zoo as a child. She determined that when she grew up she would have a place for animals and wouldn't charge so any child would be able to come(*Lindsay*- I could see you doing this someday!:)). This center lives solely off of donations... It was practically a Zoo! I wasn't sure what is was going to be like but we were all pleasantly surprised! It's 40 acres of alligators, horses, chickens, goats, emus, Llamas, ostrich, bear, lion, tigers, pigs, buffalo, monkeys, turtles...only to name a few! :) While the exotic animals are caged, (of course!!) there are walking trails and some animals roam free...it's obvious they are used to the attention because they could care less and go about their business (Like Llamas, pot belly pigs, peacocks, etc)

*Mamaw & Papaw: It's about 3 miles past our church if you kinda remember where that is...

*Warrix Fam: We definately have to go next time you are in town...and take a picnic lunch!! ;)

"All animals will either kick, scratch or throw things! Please do not touch or tease our animal friends."

This Zebra's name was Evidence and has almost been at the facilities for a year!

Begheera enjoying a scratch by an animal caretaker.

Suzy-Q was quite the character sunning herself.

He was all tuckered out when we got home!

The buffalo were ginormous!

Happy Anniversary!

You guys have always been one good lookin' couple ;)

We Love you & Miss you!
May God continue to Bless Your Marriage!!

PoPPa & Me

I'm LoVin' My CoMpAnY!!

Oh, what fun I've been having!

I love having my Grandma Jeanne & Granny Great here. They are so much fun and we've been getting out of the house more than momma & I usually do. Yesterday we went shopping and I was a good little boy and enjoyed riding around in my stroller while the girls shopped at the outlets and Kohl's.
Then, I let my momma go have a special treat and get her hair done. My Poppa was so sweet and took momma out for dinner and I stayed home with Grandma & Granny. I was really good and enjoyed Grandma giving me a bath and playing with me before bedtime.
Today, we went to Griffin to surprise my Granny Great's good friend, Betty. Boy oh boy was she surprised and I got lots of attention at her retirement home! They also thought I was a handsome boy :).
I haven't gotten any more pictures with Granny Great because she has a cold, or maybe it's just allergies...either way I am staying away but, I like to look at her from across the room.
Tomorrow, momma mentioned something about seeing animals...boy, oh boy...I can't wait!
