Mother's Day 2012

I had a great Mother's Day with all my boys yesterday. After receiving handmade cards, church and naps, we had the rest of the day to just play and enjoy the evening. We played hide n go seek, racing cars,  Henry gave me a check up & we had races up and down the side walk. :)

He is as long as a {leek}

I can't believe I am posting this picture but here is chubs cadwallader...38 weeks! haha!
38 weeks along and now we just wait on baby for whenever he is ready to come! :)
We have enjoyed all the guesses regarding baby boy's name!
Some people have some pretty good guesses and some have given us some good laughs! :).
I think the ones we have heard over and over are Harrison, William & George. Are any of those right? We'll have to wait and see!! ;)

{Run for the Bun} 5k

On Saturday, Kit & Henry enjoyed running to benefit the pregnancy resource center at the run for the bun. We have participated in this event every year and this year Henry ran in the tot trot. He was doing great until one of the "mascots" (older gentleman) dressed as a big baby squeezed beside him. Frozen stiff he was! :/. But he did run and finished and had a great time :). Kit did great too and placed 3rd in his category! It was a hot one and Porter & I were good cheerleaders. ;)

Big Brother Date Night- P's turn!

Last night was my date night with Porter! So, so fun. I made one of his favorites for dinner, Fettucine Alfredo. Then, we went out for a little shopping for baby & a new favorite of Ps...ice cream! :)
when leaving the house, he shouted "en-eeee" (Henry!!) out the subdivision and down the road as if we were forgetting him but soon warmed up to this idea of being out by himself.

He grabbed the exact same outfit H picked (guitar) for baby so I did help a little bit with persuading him to pick something else ;). Thought it would be cute to pass the title of "little brother" on down.
We did a couple other things but ended our night getting "i keem" as Porter kept calling it. We were actually at the frozen yogurt bar. Ice cream or yogurt, he loves chocolate!! :)
It was such a fun time with just my sweet P and he definitely had a smile on his face the whole time. Let's not forget too that if you even look in Porter's direction, he is not shy to yell, "HIIIIII!!!!" and wave really big. He could be a greeter pretty much anywhere, that's for sure!

A couple weeks ago he grabbed hold of a monkey lovie and so I got it for baby. But, last night he clung to the zebra "bee-bra" and honestly I thought this was a better fit anyhow. He's got some attitude and style, a lot like P, so it made sense ;).
Porter- you are such a joy and are always keeping us on our toes. I love your spunk for life and the ability to laugh and smile at everything! So incredibly proud to call you mine! Love ya, Porter Pie!

He is as long as a {stalk of swiss chard}

Had another great appt today. Baby boy is all in position and we had a little ultrasound to measure him and he's right on track to be about 7 1/2 pounds! So excited to be 37 weeks & FULL TERM! woohoo!! :)

Tybee {Family of FOUR} getaway!

This past weekend we took a little trip to Tybee Island, GA for a quick little beach getaway! We've been talking about doing a last little family of four trip and the weeks have flown by! We decided it was now or never before baby #3 arrives! We enjoyed having nothing on the agenda besides playing and playing some more :). This was Porter's first trip to the beach and he is in LOVE! Henry was hard to get a picture of because he was so serious about digging and building in the sand! ;)

 Upon arrival, Porter mesmerized!
 Enjoying the sand :)

We even got to witness a wedding on the beach to which Henry responded, "I don't think I want to get married right now" ;)
Me & the boys on the beach at 36 weeks & 4 days. I've now been pregnant on the beach with each boy!
 Walks on the beach.
Henry said, "Thanks for bringing us to the big sandbox!"

Playing and playing some more :)

After a long day on the beach, settled in for pizza & some curious George :)  (look...same pose!)
Hotel Fun!
I took quite a bit of video with the boys in the water, I'll have to try to upload later. Not quite working right now. It was a perfect little getaway! Now onto nesting like crazy and might I say, it's a bit more difficult to accomplish detailed cleaning & organizing with two little boys following behind you ;)

He is as big as a {bowling ball}

Had another great appointment today & we are so thankful!! His heart rate continues to be in the high 130s to low 140s and he is still very, very active. I can't wait to see the size of those feet that have been kicking me and poking out for some time now :). Now we are down to just weekly appointments...I can't believe it!

Time for guesses & Dresser completed!

We are at the 30 day mark until my due date and it's always fun to play a little guessing game :). Please feel free to play along if you like! Leave your answers in the comment section below...
Date of Birth?
Time of birth?
Weight?
Length?
Will my baby have any hair? ;)
And, to make it a little more interesting, if anyone guesses the correct date of birth and/or weight, I'll be mailing you a Dairy Queen gift card! Because lately, a mint oreo blizzard always sounds good! ;)
(For reference...H was born at 38 weeks and 7#14 ounces. P was born at 39 weeks and 7#10 ounces)

Oh, and here is the dresser completed with hardware!! :)
Hope you have a great Tuesday :)

liTTle bRother'S room reveal {little bits}...

Yay! Little brother's room is finally together! Well, there are still a few more things that need done but like 90% done :)
I guess I hadn't mentioned it on here but, yes, we have picked his name but are waiting to announce it until he's born so I won't be showing the WHOLE room, just bits and pieces :).

Super soft blanket with his name! :)
This frame is the same one I distressed and hung for Porter's birthday. I stapled burlap to the back and attached the letters of his name to the front. Could be my fav of the room. I dunno though, I have lots of favorites :)
Swaddle wraps and blankets ready for a sweet baby!
Of course we had to get a bucket like the other two boys. We have gotten more use out of a $6.47 bucket than I ever imagined!! The boys are always filling with toys and carrying them around not to mention, I don't buy gift bags for them. This is truly the all occasion bucket! ;)
Little diaper things ready for him :)
Thanks to the heads up from my sis in love, I scored a great bargain on this pottery barn kids diaper bag. Can't wait to use! :)
big momma. Love having a little mirror in his room on the dresser :)

Right when you walk in are these liTTle bow ties. So adorable! These were the first present we received after announcing we were expecting another lil boy! (Thanks Aunt Kenlyn, Uncle Josh & boys!) and they are too adorable to keep in the closet! Every month I just put these on a lil onesie (they have a sticker back on them) and take his monthly picture! Adorable!!
This bedding turned out just like I had pictured! (Thanks Mom & Granny!) Love the chevron :)

The little lovies both boys picked out...elephant & monkey :)
 Mobile...Love!
(Thanks to Amy for making it with me when her & E came to visit!)
Wall collage...I still can't reveal the whole thing but think it turned out well and is hung over the dresser!
Dresser before at goodwill.
The dresser/changing table. Still looking for the right hardware.
Dresser. Kit did this all and it turned out great!!
Chair we've always had in nursery. Just some new pillows.
So excited about these little shoes ;)

The boys LOVE curious george ;)
Dresser filled with cute little boy things :)
