Porter's first HAIRCUT!

This morning Porter had his first haircut! He handled it like a champ! We decided to have him sit on my lap since the booster doesn't have any straps to hold him in. Another stylist was so sweet to off to take all these pictures for me!
It was long and shaggy and I love his long, wavy, curls but wasn't loving the mullet. So, we just trimmed it up a bit!
He knew this was a BIG boy thing and soaked up every minute of it. He batted his eyes at every woman there and they were all oohing and aahing over him!
Look at him. What a charmer! Enjoying a sucker :)
Don't you love the new look?! haha :)
Henry had no complaints either. They gave big brother a sucker and car to play with. These women are moms and knew just what to do!
All done! So handsome! I was going to take an after picture and such but P fell asleep on the way home so when we wakes up I'll try to get one! :)

weekend {iPhone pictures}

I'm so glad we didnt actually do what we thought about doing this weekend. More on that in a second. Friday night Kit got home a little early and since we had decided to not go camping, we wanted to do a little something. We loaded up and headed south to Macon.  We ate dinner at Five Guys (a first for us) and the boys were on their best behavior. Henry ate his weight in Peanuts! :)
We also went to Bass Pro Shop. I had to joke it was a total guys night going there and eating burgers but it was enjoyable to be with my guys! :)
Henry was loving the fish! mesmorized!

Porter on the other hand... not a fan. I think the tank was overwhelming.

We had a fun evevning and I'm so glad because Saturday morning Kit woke up sick. :( We tried to go to the park and enjoy the beautiful day but we had to come right back. Thankfully, it seems like it was only a 24 hour bug. Him and Porter stayed home from church yesterday morning but we all went back to church last night.
After church, it was such a beautiful night we ran over to Sonic for slushies. We didn't get one for Porter because I'm not just going to hand over a sticky drink to a baby who is rear facing. Let's just say he noticed and screamed bloody murder the whole way home! And to think it would be something fun to do! ha! ha!
This makes me laugh out loud! Henry is like a puppy dog with the windows rolled down! ha!
When we finally got home I let Porter have some of mine.  Boy did he think he was BIG stuff! ;)
I'm so glad we didnt go camping. Can you imagine me packing up with two little ones and Kit sick?

Picture Post!

Oh my.
I've been lacking on posting lately. I'm always so torn with blogging. I love it. I really do. I love that this is such a great way to document our family and things we have done, the boys' stats and updates but it does take time to update. We've moved the computer upstairs and most days it's out of sight, out of mind so I just don't get to it like I used it. My computer time has gone WAY down and that's not a bad thing. ;). We are enjoying some beautiful days around here. I'll admit, I'm eager to break out the fall attire but it still rises to mid to high 80s during the day so we may start out in jeans but end up wear shorts by the days end :).

I have no idea why I decided to buy a white soccer ball with the red Georgia dirt...lesson learned ;)
This cutie is walking more and more. Gosh, I just love him and his wavy hair :)
I posted the picture of the boys smiling last week for Mamaw's birthday. This may be a favorite over that one. Porter did NOT like having to sit still for a picture and threw a fit. See...they do like each other...H wiping P's eyes...so sweet!
The boy is NOT a neat eater and Porter eats SO MUCH. Last night, he had more than I  did for dinner no joke. He's an eater!
Gosh, he's so cute! He's been so good the past couple weeks too! We've been having a lot of fun together. I never thought I'd have a blue eyed boy. love him.
Last weekend we introduced the boys to s'mores. The jackets were quickly removed...it was still pretty warm out but we are ready for fall :)

 Two rascals.
My boys. So proud to be his wife and their momma!

This week the temps have come down and we've been enjoying beautiful sunshiney days! I made pumpkin bread for MOPS the other night and that was it...my fall decorations had to come out!! I didn't do much this year but {love} the little bursts of color!

Feeding Horses @ {The Strattons}

It's so sweet when people from church step in and become family. Dick & Dianne Stratton are just that. They've invited us many times to come over and I finally put in on the calendar and this morning we had a great time over there :)
We got up this morning and put our boots on.

We cut up some apples and carrots before we left and were on our way!
Henry & Porter were in heaven...the funny thing is...the horses didn't like the carrots. They must have a sweet tooth...they preferred the apples!

Henry quickly spotted the 4-wheeler and Dick offered up a ride. "No, thank you" quickly responded Henry but I just knew he'd enjoy it...if he would try it. This is what we've been wondering for some time and it rang true this morning...Porter wanted to ride. So, after little brother took it for a spin and Henry saw everything was good, then he rode it :)
And he loved it...then we couldn't get him off :)
The boys rode to go look at the cows. Okay, I've been around cows but I'll be honest...these cows were kinda freaky...they weren't very friendly and didn't have "happy eyes"...call me crazy but they creeped me out! ha!
This is how they rode around the farm...can you see Porter? haha!
The nosiest ducks I've ever met...frick and frack.
Thanks for letting us come and play and learn!!
