We are Home!!

We made it back safely! We sure enjoyed seeing family & friends :). Look for new posts after the New Year that include Christmases, more party pictures, visits with friends and a new haircut for Henry!!!

We were able to pop in at Kaitlyn's Birthday Open House and see her in her adorable pink dress!! Of course, we just had to TRY to get a picture of the two one year olds but it's harder than you think!

"Friend"ly Visits

We took a couple of days and fit in visits with friends. Something we always want to do, but rarely have time for since our visits home are packed! I don't know why I never snapped a picture of Henry with Lindsay and Troy, bummer!!! We are SO looking forward to Baby Girl Roberson's arrival :). We are definitely praying for smooth transitions as they will be having a baby, Troy graduating, and moving practically all at the same time! We somewhat understand from our relocation and having Henry and our best advice is don't get overwhelmed with all the details...just do the next step! Lindsay, the breakfast was YUMMY!! Thank you :)

Next, we met up with Justin, Jessica and Eli! It was so great to see Eli (and Justin & Jessica!!) in person especially since we've been praying for them! I know Henry doesn't understand but it was so neat for us to introduce Henry to Eli and tell him that Eli is the one we've been praying for! Eli is such a sweetie and a BIG boy! He has a killer smile :).

Finally, we met up with Kenny, Kelly & Jenna. Time is never long enough with me and Kelly! We worked together in our "pre-mom" days and it didn't take long for us to hit it off! Even now, it's amazing how fast the time goes on the phone! Jenna is SO ADORABLE!! She has the cutest little voice and it matches her looks. She was so gentle with Henry and he seemed to settle in at their house quickly and play with all the pink! Thanks Guys!!

Christmas on the C Side

We spent christmas Morning at Kit's parents. It was a laid back day and with getting up so early, it seemed like a LONG day! ha! :) After lunch (In which I prompted to scald my sons mouth...not my best move!) We had another little birthday for H. He totally devoured the coolwhip pudding cake and it made for some fun pictures! Thanks Mamaw & Papaw!! Also, Henry played with Jaxson's JD dump truck so much that yes, we made a run to Rural King to get him one!

The two bottom pictures were taken by Aunt Kenlyn... so wish we lived closer so these boys could see each other more than a couple of days every few months! Too Cute!

Christmas Eve

We went to see Grammy and Grampie on Christmas Eve for Grammie's Birthday!! Henry & Jaxson got to each open up a Christmas present early and eat Grammie's DeLiCiOuS cinnamon rolls. From there we went back to Mamaw and Papaw's for H to catch a nap and then, it was off to Candlelight Christmas Eve service. We then went back to Mamaw & Papaws and spent the night in preparation of Christmas!

The B Family Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with my side of the family on the 23rd. There was tons of yummy food and fun! This year I loved getting TWO quilts. Well, I guess one was technically for my birthday (a bit belated) and for Christmas. WHAT FUN! I love that and the fact that my hope chest that Kit made me is getting full of handmade treasures!! After Christmas and Henry's nap, we celebrated his birthday! It is proven that he got better and better with what to do with his birthday cake! ;) That evening, we all gathered around for a game of gestures and trying out the Bop-it!

Snow!

When we arrived in Indiana the next before around 11 30P, we saw snow! The next morning, we just HAD to check it out :)

Henry's First Haircut....

We took Henry to cookie cutters for his first haircut. It went well until, she trimmed around the ears. Then, there were tears :). It was time, I had been ready for a while but Kit wanted to wait until his was a year old. It's amazing how much older he looks now.
