Quick Updates

Gisele recently went to the vet for her 12 week check and she had gained 6 pounds in 3 weeks! She is growing like a weed and last week passed up Grover in height. She is eating more and more and just graduated from puppy school on Wednesday! She also weighed in @ 26 pounds Wednesday night when we walked through the vet office (gaining a total of 14 pounds since we brought her home just 6 weeks ago). She has been a great addition to our family as she is calm and relaxed. (As you can see from the picture below, this is usually how we find her!)

Grover is loving every minute in his usual charisma of doing what he wants when he wants to! We learned quite a few tricks to help with Grover's behavior while Gisele was at class. Please feel free to stop by anytime even for just a minute to help Grover work on his hospitality skills when people knock on the door!

Kit is enjoying his recent change in position with RFA @ Caterpillar. He seems to be a little more challenged and getting along well with his new co-workers.

Grace is also enjoying her job and having alot of fun decorating the house! We just got new curtains in our front room(creations from Granny & Mom) I love them but want everyone's opinion. I love the chaise, chairs and curtains....I think the three colors of green may need to go...any color suggestions?! I am thinking of carrying the khaki from the hallway on into the room...let me know what ya'll think

We enjoyed a our weekend in Cinci. Grover & Gisele even made a quick shopping trip to Bass Pro Shop before surprising the kids at the Wx household. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend in the beautiful weather with two dogs and four kids! Then on Sunday we left a little early and met up with Amber & Zach. Their hardwood floors look awesome! You'll have to go to their blog to check it out...

...On and extreme side note... This is for Kenlyn; I was watching HGTV and they had a special on about the latest gadgets. Our vacuums were voted the most "sexy!" haha :)

We are gearing up for Christmas pictures! haha....

Sorry, but we are finding out that we are turning into pretty boring people! It seems there is not much to put on the blog lately besides our dogs! I'm not sure what we were so happy about in the picture of Kit & I but haha it makes me laugh!
I am so excited that I was able to clean out our garage yesterday and get it better organized. I even broke out the handy dandy label maker :) I'll have to snap a few pics.
Who is ready for fall?! I am ready for pumpkins, mums, apple cider,crisp mornings, candy corn, turtleneck sweaters...the whole shebang!

Getting Along

Now that Gisele has been with us a for a few weeks we are all settling in together. Grover & Gisele are becoming partners in crime...

Also, Kit finished the shelf for above the TV...i'll have to go shopping! Kit is so handy!!!! :)

Ok, I never thought I would be excited about a vacuum! We have been looking for a while and I even got to test a similar model @ Josh & Kenlyn's :). Last weekend our Dirt Devil died along with a broken belt. We got this Infiniti by Shark and I do love it! We upgraded and got this Ruby Red one for the PetCare System (Now that we have gone to the dogs!) along with the Hardwood floor attachment. I absolutely love it and it all the parts disconnect to wash in lukewarm water! Wow, you know you are boring when you can't wait to go home and sweep! haha

Alright, so all of our closest family & friends should know by now that Gisele entered into our family on Saturday! She is so cute and Grover was so intrigued when we first brought her home, now I would say he is more like annoyed!

Damages

I am so thankful and that my husband is o.k.!

Kit went into town last night and when coming back home from the interstate, a semi blew a tire in front of him. It then proceeded to hit the Explorer knocking out the passenger mirror and the passenger side of the Explorer now has black rubber marks. The rubber should buff out ok. From the pictures above, there really wasn't that much damage but enough to notice.

Cinci

We just got back from having a fabulous weekend with my sister and her family in Cinci. We were able to kick back and enjoy some "Tivo" of REBA, probably one of my new "old shows" and kick back at the pool most of the day on Saturday along with hitting our favorite, Brass Armadillo Antique Mall. The sad thing is that it will soon be closing :(. I was able to find this cherry "custom made" cabinet that I guess no one wanted after it was made for cheap!

Anyway, thanks Todd, Amy, Rob, Mallory, Clint & Erika for your hospitality! We had a great weekend!!!!

Ok, we must have officially ran out of things to say! I'm sorry that I am putting a picture of food on here but it was so yummy to eat out of the garden! Greenbeans, potatoes, tomatoes, grilled chicken on top of white wine pasta! Yummy!! :)

We had a blast this weekend going to Josh & Kenlyn's house! As always, it's fun to catch up and hang out with family. We were able to watch a couple movies in blue ray, race go-karts, play miniature golf along with the PS3 and, the all time highlight for the weekend...going to the melting pot! It was just as good as the first time Kit & I went for our first anniversary. Thanks guys!!!! (Also, thanks to Lakota for putting up with Grover!! :).
