Swimming pictures from the other weekend....

25 weeks

After only gaining 2 pounds this entire pregnancy, when I went to my appt on Friday I had gained 7 pounds in one month. Yup, I knew it was going to catch up with me! I had about two weeks where I could not feel satisfied no matter what or how much I ate. 

Maybe it's because it's a girl, or I'm older than I was with my first or the fact i've had 4 pregnancies back to back but this pregnancy has been remarkably different. 

I'll have to do a fun post on old wives tales that were true for me sometime!

Wells {12 months} better late than never

Life is just crazy busy! So what can I say....sorry third child...i'm really trying to keep up!! :)

Wellsie Grey-

You are ONE! I can't even believe it! That was a crazy fast year and before you know it, your little sister will be here! Hard to believe, so right now let's focus on YOU!

You are wearing 18 month clothes, size 5 shoe & LOVE your whole milk. Like seriously, LOVE!!!

You are pretty flexible on taking either one or two naps depending on what we are doing for the day. I'm not ready to give up that 2nd nap yet but it's nice that you can live without it if we are out and about.

You LOVE the pool & the splash pad and are quite the little fish. I don't remember your brothers loving the pool like you do and you don't seem to mind if water gets in your face.

  

You are pretty laid back....until you don't want to be. Oh my! Wow! D-R-A-M-A. You are taking steps here and there but you are definitely my fastest crawler so you prefer to just crawl to get there faster. However, the other day after practically begging you to walk and you didn't want to, I pulled out a sucker and no joke....you walked across the family room for it!! See...IF you want to..!!! ;)

You are starting to talk more and more. You can say...dog, ball, hi, bye bye, momma, poppa, please (deese), done, bubbles (buh buh), banana (nan nan), cheese.

You love books and taking anything and putting it in and out on an object. You love to play peek a boo!

You know where your hair, nose, belly & toes are!

 Your new trick is opening all the doors since all our  handles are the lever type. Oh my!! :(. 

You CAN be cuddly but right now are realizing you can be on the go if you want to be!!

You love to shake your head "no", try to brush your hair, "talk" on the phone, try to dress yourself & play with your brothers. You & Henry play really well together! You feed yourself like a pro now and are starting to be interested in a spoon. 

Overall you are a happy little guy and we can't imagine not hearing your giggles & squeals every day!

We love you, Wells!!! Can't wait to see you to continue to grow & develop, mr. handsome!!

Lego Class

We signed Henry up for a "techno kidz lego class" at our community center in the neighborhood. If anyone knows Henry, you know this was right up his alley! Oh my goodness...could not have found a better fit for this guy. He was in LOVE! Each week they would pass out each child their own kit of legos and show them the model. They would let the kids try to figure out how to make the model before helping them and then talked through the purpose of each model they made. This particular week they made a robot with gears that let them crimp paper to make "caterpillars". It had a remote control and hand crank gears. (I really don't even know if I'm describing this correctly...H definitely takes after his father!! ha!). 

Henry took to this class and this particular week when I was walked in to pick him up, he was actually leading the class in what to do. His teacher said they were amazed at how much he "got it" and was usually found helping other kids to make their models. 

Cupcake Reveal

We went to San Antonio this weekend to see my sister & her family and to reveal to them baby girls gender. We decided to do the reveal with cupcakes. Friday before we left I made cupcakes and filled them with PINK icing. We have done each and every pregnancy a little different with finding out the gender, not finding out, just telling everyone the gender, etc so it was fun to do this little reveal with them. The major perk of having some family close! 

It was also lots of fun because their family was split down the middle on boy vs. girl. Amy and the boys said BOY while Todd and the girls said GIRL! It was so much fun! Thanks for letting us come, Warrix family, eating some cupcakes with us & sharing in our excitement!! :)

22 weeks

Baby girl is measuring perfectly and her 20 week anatomy scan looked perfect! 

We praise God for a healthy baby girl and pray she continues to grow, develop and for a safe labor & delivery!

Father's Day & picking peaches

We had a pretty enjoyable & low key Father's Day weekend. I mean, as relaxing as it can be with 3 busy boys! We spent lots of time at the pool. The boys LOVE the pool! 

The boys & I got Kit a hammock for Father's day and I see us all spending a lot of time there in the future...when it cools down a little bit :). 

We have peaches coming out our ears!! We eat peaches morning, noon & night and also have enjoyed some yummy peach desserts! Love the tree in our backyard!

Wordless Wednesday

I am going to officially call myself a bonafide boy mom after this weekend!! Ha! The boys caught a couple frogs on Saturday morning and played with them ALL day.


They'd walk with them in their cages, carry them around, let them swim in the water table...the fun never stopped!


ThEN...kit spotted a lizard. We are amazed at Hs lack of fear. He had absolutely no problem chasing that thing down, grabbing it by its tail and putting it in a cage!!


Wells & I went on lots of walks. He's suddenly become very interested in walking lately so hopefully it'll all click somewhat soon! I'm ready for him to walk...just not run!! ;)





Last night after we out the boys today kit went outside and found this lizard! The boys will be OH SO EXCITED to play with this little thing today!!
