...I love casual Fridays!
:)
We got the pleasure of watching Miss Zoe today! Her mama dropped her off before Henry was awake so he was so excited to see her this morning when he came downstairs. Zoe is such a cutie and Henry LOVES her. They are both quick movers but I did manage a couple of pictures... Zoe LOVES Dora the Explorer so when I turned that on this morning she was mesmorized!
Thought we'd go back to the archives for this post...look how much you two have changed since last June!! :)
We hope you have a great day today!
We Love you!!
...peaches...

Saturday morning we met up with my friend/photographer Tate and the local peach farm and spent the morning picking peaches and taking pictures of Henry for his 18 months (note: the picture at the top of the page is only one of SEVERAL good shots she got!).
We picked a bucket full and the garage and house smell heavenly with fresh peaches! Sunday afternoon I decided I wanted to make a peach pie but Kit requested a peach crisp instead. It was delicious!

Henry ended up wanting to sleep in his room Saturday night after we got everything put together. He was so excited about his room that he did not want to go downstairs for his bedtime snack. At that moment we decided if he was that excited about his new room, we'd make a big deal out of it and see how he did (I was originally thinking of starting at nap time sometime this week). Well, he dove onto his bed and we sat quietly listening to the baby monitor downstairs but we never heard him...we checked on him, like we do every night before we went to bed, and he was all curled up in his bed! I thought for sure he'd get out and play and end up on the floor. I didn't sleep too soundly Saturday night because I just knew he'd get up but thankfully again, we never heard him! At nap time on Sunday he was a little more unsure and I had to walk him back to his bed about 3 times before he settled in but, he ended up taking a great nap. Sunday night however, he already figured out how to open the door so Kit stood at the door and walked him back to his bed a couple of times, too. Other than that, it thankfully has been uneventful....so far! :)
