16 weeks

I can't believe, Henry, that you are about to have your 4 month birthday!
I am excited to see how much you are going to weigh when we go to the doctor for your checkup on the 16th. You seem to be alot longer here lately and not so "roly-poly" but instead a "solid" little boy :).
Oh Henry, you have blessed our lives in so many ways! You are finally starting to let your personality shine through! We are enjoying your sweet spirit and love it when we see a BIG smile and hear a cackle; that is contagious :).
You are always wanting to sit up and see the action happening around you. You have started to notice the dogs and enjoy watching them walk by you. You are content to play with yourself at times and other times are content to just walk around with momma & poppa. You love the outdoors as much as we do and we love to watch you move your feet and hands around as you take in the fresh air in your stroller. I like watching your hair blow up as we are running and watch you take it all in!
Don't get me wrong though, if you don't like a particular situation or just want to be heard, you have no problem in voicing your opinion. ;)
You sleep awesome at night going to bed around 8 30p and getting up between 6 00a to 6 30a for a feeding and then going right back down until about 9 00a.
You just about made momma squeel with glee on Monday morning when you went from 8 30p to 7 40 a. I put you back down and you slept until I woke you up shortly before 10!!
You still take 3 naps a day although your first two are pretty short but usually give me a nice afternoon break with your 3rd nap.
You are really into feeling everything and starting to enjoy putting things in your mouth.
You are still a drooly little boy, but we have yet to see any little teeth buds.
Just 16 Tuesdays ago, God changed our lives forever by giving us YOU!
We couldn't be more thankful for this awesome responsibility.
You are such a blessing, sweet Henry.
We Love You So Much!

Sweet Boy

Today we ran around to different stores. Not just one or two...but 4 (we left around 10 30 and got back about 2 30!). That's the largest undertaking i've done with Henry.... He was quite the trooper today and I was very impressed by how well he did. Any little bouts of crying he had was when he had to get back in the carseat. He was in the stroller, carseat or snugli for the shopping and handled each scenario quite well!

Also, I must say, I am VERY impressed with the true southern hospitality down here. I was just telling Kit this the other night and it rang true again today... Since we've moved here, I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've had to take my cart back to the store or put place it in the "return carts" in the parking lot. Maybe it is because I have either been pregnant or had a baby with me but, I really appreciate it. Someone always seems to be right there when I'm loading the last item and takes their cart along with mine OR is going into the store and will need a cart anyway. Also, when I get Dog food at Sam's, I have yet to load it into the Explorer, there has always been some sweet soul willing to help me out.
It's so nice to see such sweet hospitality!
Luke 6:32-36
"If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'Sinners' love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reqard will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful."

Another episode of Where's Henry?! :)

Switch-er-oo!
We moved the office out of one guest bedroom and into the "piano" room to utilize the space better.
We then painted the guest room and moved the square chair in the room...tada!!

Enjoying...

Supper Time Fun

Finally Finished

As you all can see, off to the right on the sidebar we had some awesome pictures taken when Henry was a few weeks old thanks to portraitsbyrobhenry.com. Well, it took me a while to decide what I wanted but I think the picture collage turned out well.

I also hung some pictures up in Henry's room, too!

Wait, Where's Henry?!

Oh, that's right...he wanted to show you our quick bedroom makeover for the guest room! That's right...leftover paint, unused pictures and a $29 quilt....voila!

(The pictures need to be placed differently but Kit doesn't want to put more holes in the wall...yet! ;))

I forgot to take a "before" picture and this is the only one I could find...

How did this get on my camera?

...When momma is away, Kit & Henry play!!!
I was gone for a few hours yesterday attending a baby shower. Look what I found on my camera... ;)

Better

Henry doesn't have a fever anymore and seems to be doing better!
He "coughs" every now and then but also smiles as if that is his new trick :)
